Polyethelene (PE)-Lined Steel Pipe

PE-lined pipe consists of galvanized steel pipe and PE lining hose. PE lining hose is bonded tightly to the inside wall of steel pipe by the special and TFQ's patented process. This pipe has both excellent corrosion resistance of PE and high strength of steel pipe. The pipe can be used for potable water supply system both hot (red lining) and cool (white) liquid. It is also applied in the transfer for some caustic flow.

The PE-powder coated steel pipe is different from the above PE-lined steel pipe. The PE lining layer is formed by depositing of PE powder. It enjoys the same advantage of PE-lined steel pipe but with thinner coating. It is widely used in the potable water application where budget is concerned.
